| dc.description.abstract | Los páramos colombianos, ubicados en zonas de alta montaña, los últimos años han afectado por la crisis climática, las actividades antrópicas como la ganadería, agricultura no controlada y la minería, aspectos que conllevan a la degradación y pérdida de la cobertura vegetal generando alteración en la regulación hídrica.
La comunidad en busca de prevenir una destrucción total de estos ecosistemas ha afrontado luchas en contra de algunas de las políticas que implementa el gobierno nacional, sobre una supuesta conservación de estos, omitiendo el conocimiento de las comunidades que los habitan y evitando su participación en la formulación, construcción e implementación de las políticas públicas. Ante este panorama, es clara la necesidad, en aras de la salvaguarda y la protección de los páramos, involucrar a la comunidad mediante ejercicios que permitan la identificación de sus percepciones, visiones y actuaciones que contribuyan a la mitigación de riesgos a los ecosistemas y que permitan la regeneración de las capas vegetales que contribuyan a la conservación de los páramos, sin afectar la supervivencia de estos ni de los servicios ecosistémicos.
Por lo tanto, y con el fin de abordar la situación de los páramos, el presente proyecto pretende realizar un acercamiento investigativo de cómo se ven afectadas socioeconómicamente a las comunidades con la implementación de políticas públicas de protección y conservación del páramo mediante la acción participativa, involucrando a la comunidad en cada etapa y ahí identificar las problemáticas y dinámicas dentro y alrededor del páramo de Santa Inés, ubicado en el municipio de Belmira de la subregión norte del departamento de Antioquia. | |
