| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación tiene como objetivo mejorar las estrategias de TEFL centrándose en herramientas web 2.0, en entornos educativos virtuales. En general, el nivel de inglés en Colombia es relativamente bajo, y los profesores se están capacitando en el proceso de mejorar un mejor nivel de inglés. Este tema también genera un impedimento para ser contratado en empresas interconectadas internacionalmente. Existen varios factores que influyen en el deficiente dominio del idioma inglés en Colombia. Algunas de ellas son las políticas educativas, la escasez de recursos económicos, una geografía muy montañosa, el escaso acceso a las redes de información y la escasez de material didáctico, entre otras. | spa |

In general, the level of English in Colombia is relatively low, and teachers training in one angle stone in the process of enhancing a better English level. This issue also generates an impediment to be hired in internationally interlinked companies. There are several influencing factors related to such a deficient English language proficiency in Colombia. Some of them are educational policies, scarce economic resources, a very mountainous geography, poor access to information networks, and little didactic material, among others. | spa |
