In Colombia, indigenous women are an important axis within the conformation and development of their communities in organizational, economic and cultural terms; In addition to contributing to the survival of their traditions, they are a structural engine within these. These indigenous women are pushed to big cities like Bogotá due to the violence in their lands, generated by the armed conflict. They try to protect their families and in this way they come to MUTESA (woman, to knit and knowledge), a Corporation that welcomes them, makes them feel at home, and after a process of accompaniment delivers them to society as enterprising women.spa
