| dc.description.abstract | La Etnia de los Pastos es un grupo humano ancestral que en épocas prehispánicas sobresalió por su avanzada cultura y su lengua propia “pasto”, su asentamiento poblacional fue el suroccidente del departamento de Nariño (ex provincia de Obando) y la parte norte de la República del Ecuador (Provincia del Carchi). El objetivo de la propuesta en mención surge de la necesidad fortalecer, apropiar mediante la recopilación en la investigación, algunas palabras del dialecto indígena pasto, que en la actualidad se pueden evidenciar en los antropónimos, topónimos, zoónimios, fitonimios y dialectología. Para lograr nuestro propósito consultaremos fuentes documentales del siglo XVI y XVII, la historia y la lingüística indígena de Nariño, acudiremos también a los relatos de la tradición oral, comentada por algunos mayores que hacen parte de la comunidad de este territorio ancestral, del Resguardo indígena; quienes hoy en día son los referentes más importantes de la historia y que poco a poco van desapareciendo. Una vez finalizada la investigación y seguros que servirá a los estudiantes del grado 5º del Centro Educativo Chacuas, perteneciente al resguardo indígena de Ipiales, como una herramienta pedagógica y lúdica en el desarrollo del conocimiento lingüístico y cultural de este prestigioso Centro Educativo. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Etnia of the Pastos is an ancestral human group that in pre-Hispanic times stood out for its advanced culture and its own language "Pasto", its population settlement was the southwest of the department of Nariño (Ex provincia of Obando) and the northern part of the Republic of the Ecuador (Provincia of Carchi). The objective of the proposal in the mention arises the need to strengthen, through the collection in the investigation, some words of the indigenous Pasto dialect, that at present can be evidenced in anthroponyms, place names, zoonimios, phytonyms and dialectology. To achieve our purpose consult the documentary sources of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, the history and indigenous linguistics of Nariño, also go to the oral tradition stories, commented by some elders as part of the community of this ancestral territory, the Regard Indigene; who today are the most important references in history and that are gradually disappearing. Once our research is finished, we are sure that we will serve the students of the fifth grade of Centro Educative Chacuas, belonging to the Regard Indigene of Ipiales; as a pedagogical and playful tool in the development of linguistic and cultural knowledge of this prestigious Educational Center. | spa |
