The present monograph tries to approach the books Nicomaquea Ethics and Politics of the stagirite author Aristotle. Our reflective interest is to define and describe from the interpretation of some fragments of the notion of prudence. The interest of the interpretation of the fragments is to try to avoid falling into personal opinions that distance the reader from the philosophical character of the Aristotelian proposal, as well as to preserve a descriptive approach on the subject to be treated. One of the central themes, which guides the other concepts that emerge in the description and definition, is Prudence. The interest in addressing this topic is due to the fact that in the practice of reflection on the way in which duties are revealed and their strict fulfillment in the world of social morality, it is always present as a notion of well-proceeding and achieving happiness. A philosophical-political analysis of the concept of Prudence reveals the relevance of the Aristotelian conception to contemporary philosophy in its ethical field.spa
