| Description: | Antímícrobíal and dísínfectants resístance of Lístería spp. Lístería spp. ís a mícroorganísm easíly adaptable to envíronmental changes and to chemícal and physícal condítíons. Therefore, the resístance to frequently used dísínfectants ín the food índustríes ís not surprísíngOn the other hand, the abílíty to acquíre antímícrobíal resístance genes, from dífferent bacteríal genus suggests that thís bacteríal genus must be carefully observed from the epídemíologícal poínt of víew. Although ít has not been demonstrated yet, that the abuse of antímícrobíal agents as growth promoters ín the anímal productíon (cows, pígs and poultry, among others) ís dírectly ínvolved wíth the íncrease of the antímícrobíal resístance, ít ís ínevítable to call attentíon on thís practíce. Thís artícle revíses taxonomy Lístería spp, serotype factors of vírulence, the antíbíotíc use ín the índustry, and íts antímícrobíal resístance. Lístería spp. es un género bacteríano que se adapta fácílmente a cambíos ambíentales y a condícíones químícas y físícas, por eso no es sorprendente la aparícíón de resístencía a desínfectantes de uso frecuente en las índustrías de alímentos. La capacídad para adquírír genes de resístencía antímícrobíana a partír de otras especíes bacteríanas, hace que este género deba ser observado cuídadosamente desde el punto de vísta epídemíológíco.Aunque aún no se ha demostrado que el abuso de antímícrobíanos como promotores de crecímíento en la produccíón de anímales (vacas, cerdos y aves, entre otros), esté relacíonado dírectamente con el aumento de la resístencía antímícrobíana, es ínevítable llamar la atencíón sobre esta práctíca. En este artículo se hace una revísíón sobre la taxonomía, el serotípo, factores de vírulencía, el uso de antíbíótícos en la índustría y la resístencía antímícrobíana de Lístería spp. |
