| dc.description.abstractenglish | Two escenarios are presented, which are implemented in the “Packet Tracer tool”, the devices are configured and a series of answers to questions posed either regarding routing is subsequently developed, as is the case of one of its scenarios. The network model presented for development is simple and incorporates enough technology to understand routing and how networks work at the corporate level in a small or medium-sized company. It is then intended to compare the OSI model and the TCP/IP model through the analysis of simulated scenarios to understand the modeling of layers in local networks and, in turn, simulate the basic connectivity of networks through the initial configuration of network devices and end devices; that allow the understanding of the operation of the physical layer, the data link layer and the network layer of the OSI model. Keywords: CISCO, Switching, Routing, Networks, “Pocket Tracer”. | |
