| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto “Mi tierra como instrumento” se centra en la exploración creativa de las herramientas de producción y síntesis para transformar sonidos provenientes de cualquier fuente externa en instrumentos musicales o efectos aplicables a producciones profesionales. Se espera alcanzar con esta forma de creación musical un camino alternativo que permita encontrar nuevos timbres y texturas que estimulen la creatividad al ampliar las posibilidades sonoras, y que enriquezcan las producciones en cualquier género favoreciendo a músicos y productores. Para su desarrollo se establecieron 3 etapas: Preproducción, Producción y Postproducción: incluyendo la grabación y selección de sonidos provenientes de entornos rurales, (animales, plantas, la tierra, el agua, etc.) y urbanos (objetos cotidianos, dispositivos electrónicos, materiales, etc.) del paisaje sonoro de Santa Marta. Posteriormente se da paso a la composición y producción musical utilizando dichos sonidos, consolidando el producto final: 3 canciones originales que conformaran un EP (Extended Play, por sus siglas en inglés) que explora principalmente una fusión entre cumbia, house y afrobeats. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The project “Mi tierra como instrumento” focuses on the creative exploration of production and synthesis tools to transform sounds from any external source into musical instruments or effects suitable for professional music production. This form of music creation aims to offer an alternative path for discovering new timbres and textures that stimulate creativity by expanding sound possibilities, enriching productions across all genres and benefiting both musicians and producers. The development of the project is structured into three main stages: Pre-production, Production, and Post-production. It begins with the recording and selection of sounds collected from rural (animals, plants, soil, water, etc.) and urban environments (everyday objects, electronic devices, materials, etc.) in the soundscape of Santa Marta. These sounds are then used in the composition and production of original music. The final product is a three-track EP (Extended Play) that primarily explores a fusion of cumbia, house, and afrobeats. | |
