| dc.description.abstract | El siguiente trabajo se enfatizara en la problemática sobre dengue, considerando
que es un campo muy amplio y difícil de tratar, nos concentraremos en la
percepción y conocimientos que tienen las personas de los departamentos del
Meta, el Putumayo Y la costa Atlántica sobre el tema mediante la aplicación de
encuestas que se realizaron a diferentes personas de la comunidad acerca del
conocimiento que tienen de este problema de salud Pública y trataremos de
afianzar los conocimientos de sensibilización, prevención de dicha problemática la
cual consideramos importante de tratar ya que según estadísticas de la OPS/OMS
el dengue se ha vuelto la segunda enfermedad más común de las transmitidas por
mosquitos y que afectan a los seres humanos, considerando así una problemática
de salud pública.El dengue causa más enfermedad y muerte que cualquier otra infección, por
parvovirus, hay al menos 20.000.000 millones infectados anualmente, alrededor
del mundo y ahora está acechando con nuestros municipios, a pesar de los
enormes esfuerzos por contenerlos, incluyendo el uso de insecticidas, larvicidas y
eliminación de criaderos peri y domiciliarios. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The following work will emphasize the problem of dengue, considering it is a very
broad and difficult to treat, we will concentrate on the perception and knowledge
people have of the departments of Meta, Putumayo and the Atlantic coast on the
subject by implementation of surveys that were conducted at different people in the
community about their knowledge of public health problem and try to strengthen
the skills of awareness, prevention of this problem which we consider important to
address because, according to PAHO statistics / WHO dengue has become the
second most common disease transmitted by mosquitoes and affecting humans,
thus taking a public health problem.
Dengue causes more illness and death than any other infection, parvovirus, there
