| dc.description.abstract | En el proyecto de investigación “Diagnóstico sobre la separación en fuente y comercialización de los residuos sólidos generados en el área urbana del municipio de San Martín-Meta, se trata un problema del orden social como es el manejo inadecuado de las basuras; y el cual tiene como objetivo general la elaboración de un diagnóstico sobre el manejo de los mismos y su posterior comercialización.
En el trabajo de campo, la observación directa, las entrevistas, la revisión documental y las encuestas sistemáticas son las técnicas usadas para recolectar la información; la cual se codificó y se analizó con el fin de sugerir unas recomendaciones con el objeto de elevar el nivel de vida de la población sanmartinense por medio de la generación de empleo el cual se basa en el aprovechamiento del reciclaje, y a su vez mejorar el entorno ambiental en el municipio.
El tiempo de la investigación está comprendido entre agosto 26 de 2002 y enero 30 de 2003, el proyecto es un diseño metodológico cualitativo y el enfoque epistemológico es sistemático. El objeto estudio es de naturaleza institucional, la línea de investigación es disciplinar y el tipo de estudio descriptivo en un nivel clasificatorio. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | In the project of investigation Diagnosis on the separation in source and commercialization of the solid residuals generated in the urban area of the municipality of San Martin-Meta, it is a problem of the social order as it is the inadequate handling of the garbages; and which has as general objective the elaboration of a diagnosis on the handling of the same ones and their later commercialization.
In the field work, the direct observation, the interview, the documental revision and the systematic surveys are the techniques used to gather the information; which was coded and it was analyzed with the purpose of suggesting some recommendations in order to elevating the level of the population's sanmartinense life by means of the employment generation which is based on the use of the recycling, and in turn to improve the environmental environment in the municipality.
The time of the investigation is understood among August 26 of 2002 and January 30 of 2003, the project is a qualitative methodological design and the focus epistemology is systematic. The object study is of institutional nature, the investigation line is to discipline and the type of descriptive study in a classificatory level. | spa |
