| dc.description.abstract | La presente monografía tiene como estudio impulsar el ecoturismo como estrategia viable que contribuye al desarrollo económico del municipio Líbano – Tolima. El turismo, es un elemento importante, para la búsqueda de un método alternativo de desarrollo territorial, pues el municipio del Líbano Tolima, posee recursos naturales que son el patrimonio ecológico no solo del norte del departamento, sino también del país, lo cual puede potencializar al ecoturismo como factor clave, que logre darle identidad al municipio, y le otorgue las ventajas competitivas elementos a tener en cuenta, para permanecer vigente como destino turístico y lograr captar un mayor potencial de turistas, quienes a futuro recomendarán al municipio, y así categorizarlo como sitio preferente del norte del Tolima.
En momentos decisivos como el actual, los países regiones y población en el necesitan encontrar su potencial territorial y para ello se valen de sus atributos naturales que les otorgue valor agregado para impulsar el turismo como eje desarrollo económico. Es así como el municipio del Líbano Tolima posee características ecológicas inéditas y inexplotadas que pueden permitir su desarrollo económico que brinden bienestar a los habitantes, disfrute a sus visitantes pero también la importancia de la necesidad de la sostenibilidad en la riqueza natural.
En este trabajo, haremos un diagnóstico para el municipio del Líbano Tolima, donde se tendrán en cuenta los últimos planes de desarrollo municipal, departamental y nacional, en los cuales se considera al sector Turismo, como eje de proyección y desarrollo territorial enfocado a los aspectos ecológico, ambiental, agrícola, geográfico, cultural e histórico, así como también es un corredor de acceso al Parque Nacional Natural de los Nevados.

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The present monograph has as study to boost the ecotourism as a viable strategy that contributes to the economic development of Líbano Tolima municipality.Tourism is an important element to the search of an alternative method of territorial development,well the municipality of Líbano Tolima has natural resources that are ecological heritage,not only from the North of the no department but also from the country,which can potentiate ecotourism as a key factor that manages to give the advantages of ecological heritage,not only from my the North of the competitive elements to take into a account,to tamaño I force as a tourist destination and achieve greater potential for tourists who in the future will recommend it as a preference site in the northern of Tolima.
In decisive moments like the present one,need to find their territorial potential and for this they use their natural attributes that give them more value to promote tourism as an axis of economic to development that provides well-being to the inhabitants enjoyment of its visitors but also the importance of the need for sustainability in natural wealth.
In this work,we will make a diagnosis for the municipality of Líbano Tolima where the latest minicipal department plans will be taken into account,in which the tourism sector is considered as the axis of projection and territorial development focused on the aspects ecological,geographic,cultural and historical as well as as it is an access corridor to the Los Nevados Natural park.
