dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación tiene como finalidad, dar una aproximación a la realidad que actualmente afrontan los y las trabajadoras de la topografía en Colombia. Esta investigación parte desde la historia de esta ciencia, desprendiéndose luego por las universidades y entidades formadoras de profesionales, tecnólogos y técnicos, las entidades e instituciones que rigen a los profesionales de la topografía a nivel nacional, la sindicalización, los derechos asociativos y el reconocimiento monetario por la actividad ejercida, este siempre sujeta al nivel de preparación académica y experiencia de las personas que están involucradas en todo lo correspondiente a la Topografía.
