dc.description.abstract	El presente documento corresponde a la realización diagnóstico financiero de la empresa Ecopetrol S.A para los periodos 2019/2020/2021, esto a través de una comprensión inicial de la situación social y económica del país y del sector de los hidrocarburos y a su vez de los estados financieros que servirán como base para el cálculo de diferentes indicadores financieros como lo son el WACC, nivel de endeudamiento, ROCE, análisis vertical, horizontal y Duppon, entre otros. Datos que permitirán conocer el funcionamiento de la empresa, el proceso que ha logrado durante el periodo analizado y el futuro que tiene propuesto para entender como la pandemia afectó el crecimiento con el que venía la compañía; también se busca establecer qué tipo de estrategias financieras emplearon para sostenerse y que factores intervinieron en la reactivación y recuperación en caso de que la hubiese y a su vez identificar como apoyo al país en la crisis, redistribuyendo a través de las regalías, el producto interno bruto y los dividendos generados. Para finalmente llegar a unas conclusiones generales de la situación pasada y presente de la compañía y encontrarnos en la capacidad de desarrollar unas recomendaciones a futuro para los planes y políticas financieras a implementar en pro del crecimiento continuo.

dc.description.abstractenglish	This document corresponds to the financial diagnosis of the company Ecopetrol S.A for the periods 2019/2020/2021, this through an initial understanding of the social and economic situation of the country and of the hydrocarbon sector and in turn of the states that will serve as the basis for the calculation of different financial indicators such as the WACC, level of indebtedness, ROCE, vertical, horizontal and Duppon analysis, among others. Data that will allow knowing the operation of the company, the process that it has achieved during the analyzed period and the future that it has proposed to understand how the pandemic affected the growth with which the company came; It also seeks to establish what type of financial strategies they used to sustain themselves and what factors intervened in the reactivation and recovery in case there was one and in turn identify as support to the country in the crisis, redistributing through royalties, the gross domestic product and the dividends generated. To finally reach some general conclusions of the past and present situation of the company and find we in the capacity to develop recommendations for the future for the financial plans and policies to be implemented in favor of continuous growth.
