| dc.description.abstract | El entorno actual se ve plagado de problemáticas perjudiciales para la salud y el medio ambiente, parte de esta situación se debe al aumento del consumo y desechos PET, junto al bajo nivel de reciclaje como lo es el caso de Colombia, por ello el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, en conjunto con el Programa de Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA), lanza un plan nacional que asegure la disminución de residuos en fuentes hibridas, bosques, calles y cualquier sitio que pueda afectar el ecosistema; ya que en el 2019 se estimó que “de no cambiar las pautas de consumo y prácticas de gestión de desechos, en 2050 habría unos 12.000 millones de toneladas de basura plástica en vertederos y el medio ambiente”. (Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, 2022); siendo un tema importante a tratar, donde el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible (2022) señala que “la apuesta de Colombia, desde el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible es lograr, al año 2030, que el 100 % de los plásticos de un solo uso puestos en el mercado sean reutilizables, reciclables o compostables (degradados por organismos, biológicamente)”.
De acuerdo con lo mencionado, el proyecto planteado, se enfoca a contribuir a la preservación del medio ambiente, con ayuda del reciclaje de PET y la transformación del mismo, dando así origen a un plan de negocios sostenible y amigable. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The current environment is plagued by problems that are harmful to health and the environment, part of this situation is due to the increase in PET consumption and waste, together with the low level of recycling as is the case in Colombia, for this reason the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), launches a national plan that ensures the reduction of waste in hybrid sources, forests, streets and any site that may affect the ecosystem; since in 2019 it was estimated that "if consumption patterns and waste management practices do not change, by 2050 there would be about 12,000 million tons of plastic garbage in landfills and the environment." (Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, 2022); being an important issue to solve, where the Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible (2022) points out that “Colombia's commitment, from the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, is to achieve, by the year of 2030, that 100% of the plastics of only one use on the market, be reusable, recyclable or compostable (degraded by organisms, biologically)”.
In accordance with the aforementioned, the proposed project focuses on contributing to the preservation of the environment, with the help of PET recycling and its transformation, thus giving rise to a sustainable and friendly business plan. | |
