| dc.description.abstract | Ecopetrol es la empresa líder por excelencia en el mercado petrolífero en Colombia y la 2da empresa más grande en América Latina, actualmente es una compañía que funciona como sociedad anónima y se encuentra vinculada al Ministerio de Minas y Energía; al día de hoy las acciones de la compañía están registradas en la Bolsa de Valores de Colombia y en la Bolsa de Valores de Nueva York.
Este informe tiene como objetivo examinar la salud económica de la empresa Ecopetrol S.A, centrándose en revisar y evaluar la información relacionada con su situación financiera, realizando una indagación de los años 2020, 2021 y 2022, en el cual se observan las actividades de las principales cuentas contables y su avance o retroceso teniendo como referencia los años anteriormente mencionados. Así mismo, se estudiarán los indicadores financieros de solvencia (liquidez), endeudamiento y actividad, para evaluar su rentabilidad; dicha información ayuda a tomar decisiones que impulsen el crecimiento de Ecopetrol, generar rentabilidad y agilizar el nivel de competitividad frente a otras empresas petroleras a nivel regional y mundial. | |

The purpose of this report is to examine the economic health of the company Ecopetrol S.A., focusing on reviewing and evaluating the information related to its financial situation, making an inquiry of the years 2020, 2021 and 2022, in which the activities of the main accounting accounts and their progress or setback are observed, taking as a reference the years previously mentioned. Likewise, the financial indicators of solvency (liquidity), indebtedness and activity will be studied in order to evaluate its profitability; such information helps to make decisions that boost Ecopetrol's growth, generate profitability and streamline the level of competitiveness against other oil companies at a regional and global level. | |
