| dc.description.abstract | El desarrollo de este trabajo, como proyecto de grado, está relacionado con la necesidad de analizar la situación financiera de una de las empresas más importantes en Colombia con participación en la bolsa de valores internacional, teniendo como necesidad de emplear esta organización ya que es una empresa que nación en nuestro país, y brinda el apoyo social y económico para la nación, por lo cual se optó por trabajar sobre ECOPETROL, esto teniendo en cuenta su importancia para la economía del país y es interesante analizar los periodos 2019 a 2021, ya que hay tres factores que influyen en su análisis y es su comportamiento financiero antes, durante y después de la pandemia Covid 19, que repercutió no solo a nivel país si no que causo efecto en la economía a nivel global, es importante analizar que este periodo ha sido crucial para el crecimiento de la empresa ya que se evalúa las ventajas y desventajas económicas. Es por ello que se evalúa la información financiera la cual fue tomada de la página Yahoo! fínanse y con lo cual se realiza un análisis usando los indicadores que permiten relacionar datos y así realizar un informe más concreto acerca del estado actual de la empresa. Ecopetrol es una muestra de la capacidad de la empresa para mantenerse a flote en momento de crisis, en la cual se desarrollan estrategias que permitan generar utilidades mediante el ejercicio de sus actividades, disminuyendo costos, adquiriendo apalancamiento financiero y operativo, al realizar el análisis financiero se busca disminuir la probabilidad de pérdidas al finalizar los periodos contables.
