dc.description	Este artículo tiene como objeto de estudio la política lingüística del Principado de Asturias. El análisis se realizará desde la perspectiva de la sociolingüística para la paz, un campo de estudio interdisciplinario que incluye la sociolingüística y los estudios para la paz. Aunque esta disciplina cuenta con un breve desarrollo teórico, su implementación puede contribuir significativamente al análisis de las violencias (socio)lingüísticas, así como a las posibles manifestaciones de paz en los conflictos identitarios. El estudio de la política o planificación lingüística es fundamental para comprender la conflictividad sociocultural. Esto se debe a que la planificación lingüística es también una forma de planificación social. Considerando el papel de la lengua como marcador de diferenciación en las identidades contemporáneas, las leyes que regulan su uso afectan directamente el plano identitario de una comunidad. En el caso asturiano, la política lingüística es casi inexistente, lo que relega el uso de la lengua propia a los espacios privados. Además, se observa cómo la lengua asturiana desaparece paulatinamente a favor del castellano. Precisamente por esta razón, una de las principales demandas de los hablantes de asturiano es la oficialidad lingüística. Esta investigación tiene dos objetivos principales. El primero es contribuir a la expansión de una sociolingüística para la paz y mostrar sus potencialidades en el análisis de los conflictos sociolingüísticos. El segundo es revelar las implicaciones socioculturales que puede acarrear una política lingüística insuficiente, como la asturiana.	es
dc.description	The object of study of this paper is the linguistic policy of the Principality of Asturias. The analysis will be conducted from the perspective of peace sociolinguistics, an interdisciplinary discipline formed from sociolinguistics and peace studies. This disciplinehas only a brief theoretical development. However, its implementation can contribute significantly to the analysis of (socio)linguistic violence as well as possible manifestations of peace within identity conflicts. The study of linguistic policy or planning is of great importance for studying sociocultural conflict. This is because language planning is also a type of social planning. Considering the role that language has as a marker of differentiation in contemporary identities, the laws that regulate linguistic use also have an impact on the identity level of a community. In the Asturian case, the linguistic policy is almost non-existent, which relegates the use of one’s language to only private spaces. And it is even observed how the Asturian language gradually disappears to the detriment of Spanish. It is precisely for this reason that one of the greatest demands of Asturian language speakers is linguistic officiality. This research has two main objectives. The first is to contribute to the expansion of peace sociolinguistics, as well as show its potential in the analysis of sociolinguistic conflicts. The second is to show the sociocultural implications that an insufficient linguistic policy, such as the Asturian one, can have.	en
