| dc.description.abstract | Norte de Santander, ubicado al norte de Colombia, posee una rica diversidad geológica con sitios de interés como formaciones rocosas, cascadas, ríos, arroyos y cavernas, los cuales requieren ser inventariados, valorados y divulgados por su relevancia turística. Aunque la divulgación comenzó con la publicación de un libro sobre el patrimonio geológico del departamento, la información existente se encuentra en un repositorio que no permite una exploración interactiva de estos geotopos. El objetivo de esta investigación es desarrollar un dashboard interactivo que facilite la exploración y divulgación de los geotopos de la región, promoviendo la valoración del patrimonio geológico y su potencial turístico. Para ello, se empleó una metodología de investigación aplicada que utiliza herramientas tecnológicas innovadoras en el Inventario Geológico. Este dashboard, desarrollado en Power BI, proporciona acceso a información detallada sobre los principales geotopos, orientado a la población local y turistas. Although the divulgation began with the publication of a book about the geological heritage of the department, the existing information is stored in a repository that does not allow for interactive exploration of these geotopes. The objective of this research is to develop an interactive dashboard that facilitates the exploration and divulgation of the geotopes of the region, promoting the appreciation of the geological heritage and its tourist potential. An applied research methodology was used to implement technological tools that offer innovative approaches to the Geological Inventory. This dashboard, developed in Power BI, provides detailed information on the region's main geotopes and is aimed at both the local population and potential tourists. The tool aims to promote sustainable tourism, improve data management, and foster knowledge and appreciation of the geological wealth of Norte de Santander. | |
