| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo del proyecto de investigación es analizar la efectividad del tratamiento
antirretroviral VIH en los pacientes externos de una IPS del distrito de Turbo departamento de
Antioquia, mediante un estudio descriptivo con una muestra de diez pacientes externos
diagnosticados con VIH, realizándoles encuestas virtuales que permitieron evaluar los factores
que interfieren en la efectividad del tratamiento antirretroviral VIH en estos pacientes y la
aceptación del tratamiento, así mismo se valoró la atención de la IPS donde los pacientes
reciben el tratamiento antirretroviral y la calificación del servicio. Con la investigación se
pretende que los pacientes con tratamiento antirretrovirales cumplan con la administración
correcta del tratamiento, con los controles médicos y clínicos para lograr la efectividad de los
antirretrovirales, de igual manera que la IPS del Distrito de Turbo donde se efectuó el estudio a
pacientes externos con tratamientos antirretrovirales, mejore continuamente la prestación del
servicio en dispensación de medicamentos, controles, apoyo psicosocial; mejorando así la
calidad de vida de los pacientes diagnosticados con VIH, evitar la propagación del virus y la
continua sensibilización a través de campañas sobre la prevención del VIH, evitando el
contagio y transmisión. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The objective of the research project is to analyze the effectiveness of HIV antiretroviral
treatment in outpatients of an IPS in the Turbo district, Antioquia department, through a
descriptive study with a sample of ten outpatients diagnosed with HIV, conducting virtual
surveys that allowed evaluating the factors that interfere with the effectiveness of HIV
antiretroviral treatment in these patients and the acceptance of the treatment, likewise the care
of the IPS where patients receive antiretroviral treatment and the rating of the service were
assessed. The research aims for patients with antiretroviral treatment to comply with the correct
administration of the treatment, with medical and clinical controls to achieve the effectiveness of
antiretrovirals, in the same way that the IPS of the Turbo District where the study was carried
out on outpatients with antiretroviral treatments, continuously improves the provision of the
service in dispensing medications, controls, psychosocial support; thus improving the quality of
life of patients diagnosed with HIV, preventing the spread of the virus and continuously raising
awareness through HIV prevention campaigns, avoiding contagion and transmission. | |
