| dc.description.abstract | En el siguiente trabajo se encuentra expuesta la información que se recolecto por parte del grupo en cuanto a la importancia del Instituto Nacional de salud INS, donde pudimos conocer que este es una entidad pública de carácter científico-técnico en salud pública, de cobertura nacional, que contribuye a la protección de la salud en Colombia mediante la gestión de conocimiento, el seguimiento al estado de la salud de la población y la provisión de bienes y servicios de interés en salud pública.
Además de responder las preguntas orientadoras, el estudio que se le hizo a la enfermedad de interés en salud pública de mayor incidencia en el departamento seleccionado.
Con el sivigila, se identifican los problemas de salud y ejecuta planes específicos para actuar sobre estos problemas, mediante captación, registro o detección, notificación, confirmación, análisis de casos y difusión en boletines y lo más importante planes de mejoramiento.
Además pudimos informarnos de los eventos que vigila el Instituto nacional de salud, en casos de enfermedades transmisibles, no transmisibles y en los riesgos medioambientales, como también de la importancia de hacer seguimiento a las enfermedades de mayor incidencia con el fin de implementar estrategias para prevenirlas o tratarlas. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | In the following work is exposed the information that was collected by the group regarding the importance of the INS National Institute of Health, where we could know that this is a public entity of scientific-technical nature in public health, of national coverage, that contributes to the protection of health in Colombia through the management of knowledge, the monitoring of the health status of the population and the provision of goods and services of interest in public health.
In addition to answering the guiding questions, the study that was made to the disease of public health interest of greater incidence in the selected department.
With the sivigila, health problems are identified and specific plans are executed to act on these problems, through recruitment, registration or detection, notification, confirmation, case analysis and dissemination in newsletters and most importantly improvement plans.
We were also able to inform about the events that the National Institute of Health monitors, in cases of communicable, non-communicable diseases and environmental risks, as well as the importance of monitoring the most prevalent diseases in order to implement strategies to prevent them or treat them. | spa |
