| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto de investigación se realizó en el municipio de Zipaquirá, buscando resolver el interrogante ¿Cómo se encuentran la gestión de las asociaciones de usuarios de las EPS Convida, Famisanar, Sura, Nueva EPS y la Veeduría en Salud en el municipio de Zipaquirá?
En este sentido y mediante una investigación cualitativa con el uso de herramientas como entrevistas, encuestas y revisión de documentación, se pretende entender la dinámica de los espacios de participación ciudadana, además de las fortalezas y debilidades frente a su gestión.
A partir de lo dicho, es significativo para una Secretaria de Salud y las Entidades Administradoras de Planes de Beneficios de Salud (EAPB) medir si los espacios de participación están cumpliendo su función, si son reconocidos por los afiliados que representan y su aporte al Sistema General Seguridad Social en Salud (SGSSS)
Adicional de lo anterior, este proyecto también será un documento de consulta para otras Secretarias de Salud que deseen fortalecer sus procesos de participación ciudadana. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This research project was conducted in the municipality of Zipaquirá. The objective was to answer the following question: What importance does giving community members the opportunity for informed involvement with EPS Convida, Famisanar, Sura, and Nueva EPS, along with oversight over the healthcare system of the municipality of Zipaquirá have on the successful guidance of said community in the face of the general system of social security of health?
By means of qualitative research, interviews conducted, and a review of the literature, we will be able to understand that which is pertinent to the general system of social security of health and opportunities for civic participation. This is particularly true for topics such as mobility, the system of transactional affiliation, affiliation to a subsidized regimen, insurance provided through companies, insurance obtained independently, medications given, and appointment availability. These are relevant topics that individuals must be aware of and understand. This increased comprehension will allow community members greater ease in accessing the general system of social security of health and prevent barriers in obtaining services.
It is vital that a Secretary of Health assess if the opportunities for participation are successful in the guidance of community members, as well as how important these opportunities are for the community itself. This research will also be available as a reference for other secretaries of health who wish to strengthen their methods regarding community participation. | spa |
