| dc.description.abstract | En Barrancabermeja, el turismo no solo beneficiaría la economía de la ciudad, también podría llegar a consolidarse como una estrategia de desarrollo social y cultural, por cuanto permitiría el máximo aprovechamiento de los recursos y ambiente naturales, la conservación y mejoramiento de estos, así como también la sensibilización ciudadana en el cuidado, protección y conservación de los recursos.
Por tal motivo se planteó el proyecto de investigación denominado “Análisis y caracterización del sector turismo en el Distrito Especial de Barrancabermeja” que consistió básicamente en identificar la oferta y la demanda de los diferentes destinos turísticos que actualmente cuenta el Distrito como a su vez determinar los sectores estratégicos que ayuden a promover los nuevos y ya existentes escenarios turísticos de Barrancabermeja.
Por ende, este estudio investigativo está orientado a generar una alternativa turística en Barrancabermeja que pueda llegar a aportar a la conservación de los recursos naturales del Distrito y al desarrollo de alternativas culturales. | |

For this reason, the research project called "Analysis and characterization of the tourism sector in the Special District of Barrancabermeja" was proposed, which basically consisted of identifying the supply and demand of the different tourist destinations that the District currently has, as well as determining the strategic sectors that help promote the new and existing tourist scenarios in Barrancabermeja.
Therefore, this research study is aimed at generating a tourism alternative in Barrancabermeja that can contribute to the conservation of the District's natural resources and the development of cultural alternatives. | |
