Este artículo muestra de manera más clara la aplicación de los conceptos desarrollados durante el Diplomado de Innovación Social, dando como resultado la propuesta “Sistematización de un Proceso Social Innovador en la Institución Laura Vergara” La realización de esta experiencia en la Institución Laura Vergara permitió conocer mejor cómo funcionan las instituciones sin ánimo de lucro dedicadas a ayudar psicológica y educativamente a las mujeres, quienes desde diferentes ambientes sociales han sido víctimas de violencia de género y conflicto armado para que puedan afrontar y superar las secuelas que dejan en su vida estos actos de opresión por parte de su cónyuge, además, se hizo evidente que la Institución Laura Vergara es una de las entidades de las muchas que no reciben apoyo por parte del Gobierno y que subsisten gracias a las donaciones que reciben de manos de la comunidad y de la Iglesia. Este artículo muestra qué tanto afecta la presencia de la violencia de género y conflicto armado, así como también reconocer que la sociedad tiene mucho que ver en cómo estos casos van en aumento gracias a la falta de apoyo, el desinterés y la cultura machista que aún existe en nuestro país, y cómo mediante programas de acción social, la Institución Laura Vergara aporta su grano de arena para mejorar la calidad de vida de estas mujeres y su entorno familiar ayudándolas a empoderarse y fortalecer su autoestima de tal forma que se sientan capaces de merecer un lugar en la sociedad.

With the elaboration of this article, the application of the concepts developed during the Social Innovation Diploma is shown in a clearer way, resulting in the proposal "Systematization of an Innovative Social Process in the Laura Vergara Institution". With the completion of the experience in the Laura Vergara Institution, it was possible to better understand how non-profit institutions work, dedicated to psychologically and educationally helping women who, from different social environments, have been victims of gender-based violence and armed conflict, can face and overcome the consequences that these acts of oppression on the part of your spouse leave in your life; In addition, it became clear that the Laura Vergara Institution is one of many entities that do not receive support from the Government and that survive thanks to the donations they receive from the community and the Church. This article shows how much the presence of gender violence and armed conflict affects, as well as recognizing that society has a lot to do with how these cases are increasing thanks to the lack of support, disinterest and the macho culture that still exists. exists in our country, and how, through social action programs, the Laura Vergara Institution contributes its grain of sand to improve the quality of life of these women and their family environment, helping them to empower themselves and strengthening their self-esteem in such a way that they feel capable to deserve a place in society.
