| dc.description.abstractenglish | The department of Meta has historically been the scene of the violent conflict that Colombia is experiencing. Both the extinct FARC and the actions of the paramilitary groups that have had and continue to have a strong impact on the territory even after the demobilization process. The territorial dispute between these illegal groups (linked to the control of illicit activities such as coca cultivation and kidnapping) and between them and the regular forces of the State, has created a permanent and growing dynamic of human rights violations and infractions of law. The present study focuses on analyzing the human rights situation and proposing actions for its effectiveness from the networking of social organizations and government institutions in 8 municipalities of the department of Meta, for which it develops research with a mixed approach and a descriptive-propositional type, in which 101 members of the network of social organizations and government institutions participated, who were surveyed. The results show the development of the baseline of the humanitarian situation in the department of Meta, starting from the recovery of the historical memory of violence; also, the identification of the impact of the implementation of public human rights policies in the Departmental Action Plan in Meta; and the formulation of a strategic plan for the network of social organizations to improve the human rights situation. | |
