| dc.description.abstractenglish | The written work focuses on configuring different aspects of the network using the GNS3 simulation software. Specifically, three main topics were addressed: VRF configuration, static routing, and Layer 2 configurations.
Firstly, VRF configuration was implemented in GNS3, which is a network virtualization technique that allows multiple instances of a network to share the same physical resources. The process of creating different VRFs in GNS3, assigning interfaces to each VRF, and configuring the routing table for each VRF was explained in detail.
Secondly, static routing was configured in GNS3. The process of setting up static routes on network devices, verifying the routing table, and troubleshooting common issues with static routing was described.
Lastly, Layer 2 configurations were addressed, which are important for communication between network devices in the same VLAN. The configuration of different Layer 2 protocols such as STP (Spanning Tree Protocol), VLANs, and trunking, as well as the verification of Layer 2 configuration in the network, were explained.
Overall, this work provides a practical guide to configuring VRF, static routing, and Layer 2 configurations using the GNS3 simulation software. It highlights the importance of these configurations in establishing an efficient and secure network environment
