| dc.description.abstract | Boyacá es uno de los departamentos que más produce alimentos para el país, pero muy pocas son las producciones que se encuentran tecnificadas, debido a que la cultura de muchas familias boyacenses está en el uso inadecuado de agroquimicos, esto se debe a que, al presentar problemas fitosanitarios, lo primero que se hace es buscar almacenes agrícolas los cuales ofrecen productos químicos, muchas veces sin asesoría.
Un ejemplo de esta situación es la que se viene presentando en la vereda Siatame del municipio de Sogamoso, esta zona se caracteriza por la producción de cebolla cabezona y otros cultivos como cebolla larga y papa, lamentablemente estas producciones no son tecnificadas.
El objetivo de este estudio es buscar estrategias para el mejoramiento de los suelos de esta vereda, evitar que fuentes hídricas como el río chiquito se sigan contaminando y ayudar para que la salud de los productores y habitantes del sector se siga viendo afectada por el mal manejo de los agroquimicos, también se busca concientizar a las familias productoras del daño ambiental que se está generando por las malas prácticas y brindarles asesoría para que puedan tecnificar sus cultivos y de esta manera crecer y llegar a otros mercados más exigentes. | |
