| dc.description.abstract | En todo el mundo Colombia ha sido y es conocida por tener quizás el café (Coffea arábica L.) con la más alta calidad del mundo, intenso en olor, calor y sabor, esto se debe a que en Colombia es uno de los pocos países del mundo que posee todos los pisos térmicos, lo que conlleva a poder ofrecer distintos tipos de café en un solo país, hoy en día el departamento de Santander ofrece al mundo uno de los mejores cafés en cuanto a calidad se trata.
Hoy por hoy el café hace presencia en casi todas las provincias de Santander abarcando así 53017 hectáreas cultivadas en alrededor de 75 municipios, lo que hace del café una fuente de ingresos para muchas familias que viven de estos cultivos, hoy abordaremos la importancia de factores como la temperatura con la ayuda de las SIG (Sistemas de Información Geográfica) y como esta influye en la aptitud del café en suelo santandereano. | |
