dc.description.abstract	Angélica Gómez (2022) Presenta su proyecto de grado, el cual da a conocer la experiencia que ha atravesado su madre con su enfermedad y resaltar su tenacidad, como una actitud de vida para afrontarla. El proyecto de investigación-creación aborda como tema principal la enfermedad que padece la madre de la artista, llamada Paraparesia Espástica Tropical, es una enfermedad crónica-degenerativa y que afecta la medula espinal, razón por la cual ha afectado la movilidad de miembros inferiores de la afectada. La temática sobre el caso de enfermedad en mención se aborda desde el concepto de la resistencia y ha estado relacionado con casos de artistas que también pasaron por un proceso similar. De igual forma, como este trabajo trata sobre el concepto de resistencia frente a una enfermedad también va dirigido a personas que padecen de enfermedades degenerativas y que este sea un insumo que pueda incentivar a estas personas en su búsqueda de alternativas que los ayude a resistir. En la investigación se hace un acercamiento a la enfermedad Paraparesia Espástica Tropical, también se abordan las emociones frecuentes de las personas que padecen de enfermedades crónicas y degenerativas, al igual que se aproxima a las alternativas de apoyo desde el área de medicina a pacientes con este tipo de enfermedades. Partiendo de la experiencia en el proceso de enfermedad de su madre, la importancia de este proyecto gira en torno a un contexto familiar, y este forma parte del tejido social. Por lo tanto, pasamos a un contexto social dirigido a un plano que lo conforma un conjunto de comunidades individuales como las familias con diversas problemáticas y que pueden clasificarse en el contexto social ya que tratan de problemas de la vida cotidiana y el arte puede manifestarse también en estos contextos.
