dc.description.abstract	Con el propósito de contribuir en el proceso de recuperación de memoria histórica de la comunidad Muisca realizado desde diferentes autores y fuentes, y de quienes hay evidencia que estuvieron asentados en el altiplano cundiboyacense, Julio César Rodríguez (2023), en el trabajo de grado realizado para obtener el título de Maestro en Artes Visuales de la Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia – UNAD, realiza una propuesta escultórica en arcilla polimérica que relaciona algunos de los mitos más significativos de este grupo étnico, y que dan respuesta a tres interrogantes de esta cultura: la cosmogonía, el origen del hombre y el inicio de algunas de las actividades sociales y culturales. Los mitos seleccionados son el de Chiminigagua o Chiminichagua: “el dios creador y el dios de la luz”, dios reconocido como el señor omnipotente, creador del cosmos; el de Bachué o Bachwénsié: “la diosa madre del género humano”, mujer prolífica y fecunda, cuyos hijos fueron los primeros pobladores de la tierra; y el de Nencatacoa o Fo, dios de los ensueños, las borracheras y protector de los tejedores de mantas y artistas.

dc.description.abstractenglish	With the purpose of contributing to the process of recovering the historical memory of the Muisca community carried out from different authors and sources, and of whom there is evidence that they were settled in the Cundiboyacense highlands, Julio César Rodríguez (2023), in the degree work carried out to obtain the title of Master in Visual Arts from the National Open and Distance University - UNAD, he makes a sculptural proposal in polymer clay that relates some of the most significant myths of this ethnic group, and that answers three questions about this culture: the cosmogony, the origin of man and the beginning of some of the social and cultural activities. The selected myths are that of Chiminigagua or Chiminichagua: "the creator god and the god of light", god recognized as the omnipotent lord, creator of the cosmos; that of Bachué or Bachwénsié: “the mother goddess of the human race”, a prolific and fecund woman, whose children were the first settlers on earth; and that of Nencatacoa or Fo, god of dreams, drunkenness and protector of blanket weavers and artists. The exhibition of the works was held on February 8, 9, 10 and 11, 2023, in the Hall of former presidents of the Casa del Fundador, in the city of Tunja, whose inauguration was accompanied by an Andean Musical group and a Linguist and scholar of the Muisca Language, who also elaborated some texts, which are presented in this document.
