| dc.description.abstract | Este documento tiene como objetivo proponer una intervención para abordar la tuberculosis
en Arauquita, Colombia. Se busca mitigar los efectos negativos de esta enfermedad
infecciosa que afecta principalmente los pulmones. La estrategia se enfoca en prevención,
detección temprana, tratamiento y seguimiento. Se describe la situación actual de la
tuberculosis en Arauquita y se identifican los desafíos específicos. La población objetivo es
la adulta entre 27 y 59 años, especialmente aquellas con condiciones de salud especiales. Se
destaca la importancia de cumplir con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS),
especialmente el ODS 3 (Salud y bienestar) y el ODS 17 (Alianzas para lograr los objetivos).
La propuesta busca concientizar sobre la tuberculosis, mejorar la detección temprana y el
acceso al tratamiento. Se enfatiza en la finalidad de obtener resultados en salud y ser costo
efectivo para el sistema de salud. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This paper aims to propose an intervention to address tuberculosis in Arauquita, Colombia.
It seeks to mitigate the negative effects of this infectious disease that mainly affects the
lungs. The strategy focuses on prevention, early detection, treatment and follow-up. The
current situation of tuberculosis in Arauquita is described and specific challenges are
identified. The target population is adults between 27 and 59 years of age, especially those
with special health conditions. The importance of meeting the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs) is highlighted, especially SDG 3 (Health and well-being) and SDG 17
(Partnerships to achieve the goals). The proposal seeks to raise awareness of tuberculosis,
improve early detection and access to treatment. It emphasizes the goal of achieving health
outcomes and being cost-effective for the health system. | |
