| dc.description.abstract | La tradición oral como un elemento esencial en la preservación de la memoria colectiva y la construcción de la identidad cultural, actúa como el puente que une el pasado con el presente, manteniendo viva la historia y la herencia de una sociedad a pesar de las inevitables rupturas y fragmentaciones que ocurren a lo largo del tiempo.
El propósito central de esta obra de investigación - creación gravita en torno a la fragilidad de las expresiones orales, especialmente los refranes y dichos populares presentes en el lenguaje cotidiano, los cuales actúan como vehículos de sabiduría y cultura que se transmiten de una generación a otra en la región del altiplano cundiboyacense, indagando a su vez sobre la vulnerabilidad de estas formas particulares del habla y su debilitamiento a medida que la sociedad avanza. Este proyecto de investigación-creación es una obra de videoinstalación que explora la intervención artística de una vasija de barro fragmentada como artefacto material para representar el aspecto inmaterial del habla y luego reparada con cintas las cuales tienen escrito refranes y dichos, esta reparación hecha con cintas que pueden desprenderse con el tiempo, no busca mantener la obra intacta de manera permanente, sino que destaca la naturaleza transitoria y cambiante de la tradición oral, representando la idea de que las expresiones culturales están sujetas a la erosión del tiempo y a los cambios socioculturales, de forma que se fusiona la apropiación material siendo las vasijas de barro símbolos tangibles de la rica tradición alfarera de la zona y conceptual en cuanto a la representación de la fragilidad de la tradición oral cundiboyacense. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The oral tradition as an essential element in preserving collective memory and constructing cultural identity, acts as the bridge that links the past with the present, keeping history and the heritage of a society alive despite the inevitable ruptures and fragmentations that occur over time.
The central purpose of this research - creation work gravitates around the fragility of oral expressions, especially the refranes and popular sayings present in everyday language, which act as vehicles of wisdom and culture that are transmitted from one generation to the next in the region cundiboyancense plateau, investigating in turn on the vulnerability of these particular forms of speech and their weakening as society advances. This research-creation project is a video installation that explores the artistic intervention of a clay vessel fragmented as a material artifact to represent the intangible aspect of speech and then repaired with tapes which have written proverbs and sayings of the región, this repair made with tape that can unfold with time, does not seek to keep the work intact permanently, but highlights the transitory and changing nature of oral tradition, representing the idea that cultural expressions are subject to the erosion of time and to socio-cultural changes, so that the material appropriation is merged being the clay vases tangible symbols of the rich alfarer tradition of the area and conceptual in terms of the representation of the fragility of the oral tradition cundiboyacense. | |
