| dc.description.abstract | Al occidente del Departamento del Huila, se sitúa el Municipio de la Plata, posee climas diversos por acción de la cordillera de los Andes, posee zonas de clima frio en las zonas altas, templado es el que ocupa áreas más extensas y cálido en la zona baja principalmente en la cabecera municipal y sus veredas aledañas, el principal renglón de la economía es el sector y el cultivo de café es el de mayor importancia en la región. Mediante el sistema de información geográfica con el software QGIS se busca analizar la aptitud ambiental, climática y edáfica del municipio para el establecimiento del cultivo de café y determinar las áreas en las que se puede establecer el sistema productivo debido a diferentes factores ambientales, climáticos y edáficos donde sus rendimientos sean óptimos. | |
