| dc.description.abstract | En el contexto actual de la zona fronteriza, marcada por el flujo de migrantes venezolanos, se destaca un área particularmente delicada que afecta la vida cotidiana de cientos de personas, incluyendo niños, niñas y adolescentes que cruzan de un país a otro. Las trochas —caminos ilegales utilizados por quienes buscan un mejor futuro—, se revelan como escenarios de riesgo, especialmente para los niños, niñas y adolescentes que los transitan. En ocasiones, estos caminos están marcados o guiados, pero en otros casos, la orientación es limitada. Dada la alta afluencia de personas que transitan por esta zona, es esencial priorizar la seguridad y el bienestar de los niños, niñas y adolescentes, quienes gozan de especial protección y requieren atención prioritaria. En este territorio se entrelazan diversos fenómenos; las trochas constituyen una respuesta humanitaria ante una necesidad apremiante. No obstante, estas se transforman en entornos hostiles donde la falta de autoridad propicia la aparición de actores que representan una amenaza latente. En respuesta a esta situación, se propone un proyecto artístico que utiliza una narrativa crossmedia para ilustrar y sensibilizar acerca de los peligros enfrentados por este grupo vulnerable. A través de la metafórica representación de "monstruos" que simbolizan amenazas reales como la trata de personas y abusos sexuales, contrabando y bandas criminales, se narrarán historias en formato de fábulas. Estas fábulas, al estar dirigidas especialmente a un público infantil, no solo contarán los retos a los que se enfrentan los niños, niñas y adolescentes, sino que también incluirán moralejas que fomenten la concienciación sobre los riesgos implicados. La elección de las fábulas como medio de expresión permite abordar estos temas delicados de manera accesible y comprensible. Estas narrativas crossmedia estarán disponibles principalmente en un folleto impreso a color y una serie de videos animados donde se irán contando las historias. | |

The trochas—illegal paths used by those seeking a better future—pose significant risks, especially for these young individuals. While some trochas are marked or guided, others lack clear guidance. Given the high volume of people traversing this area, it is imperative to prioritize the safety and well-being of children and adolescents, who require special protection.
This territory is marked by a complex interplay of phenomena. The trochas serve as a humanitarian response to a pressing need, but they also transform into hostile environments where the lack of authority enables the emergence of dangerous actors. To address this situation, an artistic project is proposed that uses cross-media storytelling to illustrate and raise awareness about the dangers faced by this vulnerable group.
Through the metaphorical representation of "monsters" that symbolize real threats such as human trafficking, sexual abuse, smuggling, and criminal gangs, stories will be narrated in the format of fables. These fables, aimed primarily at a child audience, will not only recount the challenges faced by children and adolescents but will also include moral lessons that promote awareness of the risks involved. By choosing fables as a means of expression, these delicate topics can be addressed in an accessible and understandable manner.
These cross-media narratives will be available primarily in a printed color brochure and a series of animated videos that will bring the stories to life. | |
