| dc.description.abstract | El presente documento aborda el análisis del VIH (Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Humana)
y el SIDA (Síndrome de Inmunodeficiencia Adquirida), enfermedades que impactan gravemente
el sistema inmunológico, disminuyendo la capacidad del organismo para combatir infecciones y
enfermedades. A partir de la información registrada en el Análisis de Situación de Salud (ASIS)
del departamento del Quindío, se evidencia una alta prevalencia de esta enfermedad,
representando un problema significativo de salud pública. Como futuros administradores en
salud, se ha diseñado una propuesta de intervención orientada a adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos,
centrada en la promoción de la educación sexual como estrategia de prevención. Este enfoque
busca minimizar la incidencia de la enfermedad, mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas
afectadas, garantizar la adherencia al tratamiento y sensibilizar a la comunidad para reducir el
estigma social asociado. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This document addresses the analysis of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and
AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome), diseases that seriously impact the immune
system, decreasing the body's ability to fight infections and diseases. Based on the information
recorded in the Health Situation Analysis (ASIS) of the department of Quindío, a high
prevalence of this disease is evident, representing a significant public health problem. As future
health administrators, an intervention proposal has been designed for adolescents, young people
and adults, focused on the promotion of sexual education as a prevention strategy. This approach
seeks to minimize the incidence of the disease, improve the quality of life of affected people,
ensure adherence to treatment and raise awareness in the community to reduce the associated
social stigma. | |
