| dc.description.abstract | En el contexto actual, la gestión del riesgo de inundaciones es esencial para el desarrollo sostenible de las áreas urbanas. Este trabajo analiza el impacto de los posibles riesgos por inundación durante el periodo de marzo del año 2024, en el municipio de Montenegro, departamento de Quindío en Colombia, a través del uso del sistema de información geográfica ArcGis Pro, con el cual se sectorizará el territorio a trabajar incluyendo diversos criterios, se tendrán variables en cuenta como precipitación para el mes de marzo, pendiente e información de drenajes que permitirá establecer la población vulnerable, según los diferentes tipos de riesgo, así como las construcciones urbanas, vías municipales y limite veredal dentro del municipio. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | In the current context, flood risk management is essential for the sustainable development of urban areas. This work analyzes the impact of possible flood risks during the period of March 2024, in the municipality of Montenegro, department of Quindío in Colombia, through the use of the geographic information system ArcGis Pro, with which the territory to be worked will be sectorized including different criteria, variables such as precipitation for the month of March, slope and drainage information will be taken into account to establish the vulnerable population, according to the different types of risk, as well as urban constructions, municipal roads and the municipal boundary within the municipality. | |
