| dc.description.abstract | Se realizó la configuración de la herramienta NethServer 7.9.2009 para dar solución a las necesidades específicas de una organización. La metodología consistió en la descarga, instalación y configuración de esta distribución de Linux basada en CentOS 7 en una máquina virtual. La topología de la red diseñada consistió en tres redes: roja (WAN), verde (LAN) y naranja (DMZ); y entre las herramientas que se configuraron se encuentran servicios como DHCP, DNS, controlador de dominio, proxy y filtro web, cortafuegos, impresoras, intercambio de archivos y VPN. El paso a paso de la configuración fue detallado con imágenes y permitió comprobar la versatilidad y robustez de NethServer como una herramienta fundamental en la gestión de infraestructura de red para organizaciones pequeñas y medianas, resaltándose la facilidad de su configuración y administración y su carácter de software libre. | |

The methodology consisted of the download, installation and configuration of this CentOS 7-based Linux distribution on a virtual machine. The network topology consisted of three networks: red (WAN), green (LAN) and orange (DMZ); and among the services configured there were DHCP, DNC, domain controller, proxy and web filter, firewalls, printers, file sharing and VPN. The step-by-step configuration was detailed with pictures and allowed to assess the versatility and robustness of NethServer as a fundamental tool in network infrastructure management for small and medium organizations, remarking the ease of its configuration and administration, and highlighting its free software character. | |
