The Juan Felipe Gómez Escobar Foundation, located in Cartagena, Colombia, is a reference point for transformative and participatory social innovation. Its model addresses the vulnerability of adolescent mothers through a comprehensive approach that includes health, education, and personal empowerment, seeking to break cycles of intergenerational poverty. This approach focuses on meeting the specific needs of adolescent mothers, providing them with tools and resources to improve their quality of life and that of their children. The Foundation's experience was evaluated through the application of the Reconstructive Timeline (LTR) and the analysis of the Technology Readiness Level (TRL). The results showed that the Foundation's programs had a positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries, demonstrating their effectiveness in addressing the needs of adolescent mothers in vulnerable situations. The programs focused on training and empowering adolescent mothers, providing them with skills and knowledge to improve their employability and autonomy. Additionally, the programs worked on creating support networks and promoting the health and well-being of mothers and their children. The final social validation of the programs was achieved through social appropriation and the social capital formed around the programs. The beneficiaries became agents of change within their communities, sharing their stories and acting as ambassadors for the program. This reflects a high degree of empowerment and awareness, which reinforces the viability and replicability of the programs in other contexts and communities.
