| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio investiga la innovación social de un de voluntarios la Variante de Ibagué,
Tolima, que brindan primeros auxilios psicológicos a personas en crisis en el puente de la zona
ante los casos recurrentes de personas que llegan esta estructura a querer morir por suicidio. A
través de entrevistas con los voluntarios y encuestas a la comunidad, se identificó la falta de
apoyo gubernamental y la lejanía de las citas médicas psicológicas como desafíos clave. A pesar
de la percepción positiva de la comunidad sobre esta iniciativa, se destaca la necesidad de apoyo
y crecimiento garantizar su continuidad. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This study investigates the social innovation of a group of in the Variante Ibagué Tolima,
who provide psychological first aid to individuals in crisis at the bridge in the area because of the
recurrent cases of people who come to this structure to want to die by suicide. Through
interviews with volunteers and surveys of the community, the lack of government support and
the distance of psychological medical appointments were identified as key challenges. Despite
the positive perception of the community towards this initiative, the need for support and growth
to ensure its continuity is highlighted. It is recommended that the local government provide
greater support to the volunteers and facilitate access to mental health services to strengthen
community job. | |
