| dc.description.abstract | La Federación de Cafeteros de Vélez se ha propuesto transformar la caficultura en un negocio sostenible y
rentable en el corto, mediano y largo plazo, contribuyendo al desarrollo económico y social de las
familias en las veredas y la provincia, siempre priorizando la conservación de los recursos naturales.
Gracias a la eficacia y transparencia en la gestión de proyectos, la Federación ha logrado establecer
alianzas estratégicas con cooperantes locales, quienes aportan recursos significativos para iniciativas que
generan un impacto positivo. Esto ha permitido combinar los fondos cafeteros con otros recursos,
incluyendo alianzas con la Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia, lo que potencia aún más su
labor y ayuda a expandir el proyecto de café a niveles nacionales e internacionales. De este modo, se
busca transformar la economía de las veredas y mejorar la calidad de vida de quienes participan en este
desarrollo sostenible. Además, se pretende generar más empleo y capacitar a todos aquellos interesados
en formar parte del proyecto.
En lo que respecta a las mujeres, se busca empoderarlas como líderes al aprovechar sus habilidades y
fortalecer su autoconfianza. El objetivo es que puedan transmitir sus conocimientos a sus hijos y a otras
mujeres que, lamentablemente, aún sufren violencia por parte de sus parejas debido al machismo. Es

sustainable and profitable business in the short, medium and long term, contributing to the economic and

Thanks to the efficiency and transparency in the management of projects, the Federation has been able to
establish strategic alliances with local cooperating partners, who contribute significant resources for
initiatives that generate a positive impact. This has made it possible to combine the coffee funds with
other resources, including alliances with the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia, which
further strengthens its work and helps to expand the coffee project to national and international levels. In
this way, the project seeks to transform the economy of the villages and improve the quality of life of
