| dc.description.abstract | Este artículo se fundamentó en la historia de vida de la “Fundación El Reino de los Gatos", que se dedica actualmente a rescatar felinos en condición de abandono, maltratados por el ser humano o con condiciones médicas que requieran cuidados específicos, para posteriormente establecer si serán dirigidos a zonas rurales por su feracidad o serán resocializados con el ser humano, con el fin de que tengan una excelente calidad de vida; por medio de fuentes primarias se realizaron distintas entrevistas a algunos miembros de la fundación en mención, a trabajadores públicos de la alcaldía de Facatativá, de las distintas secretarias como la de gobierno y cultura, y a trabajadores de la UNAD CCAV Facatativá quienes están en contacto diario con las mascotas de apoyo emocional que adoptaron en sus sitios de trabajo.
Normalmente se cree que estas mascotas solo se tienen en entornos familiares, pero en la actualidad están en los sitios de trabajo y cumplen horarios como cualquier miembro de un equipo de trabajo de una empresa algunos bien allí y otros en casa de algún empleado que los acoge en la noche y en el día interactúan con todos los empleados.
Es importante resaltar que uno de los objetivos principales de la fundación es que la población en general de este municipio y de los municipios aledaños creen conciencia sobre la tenencia responsable de felinos en el municipio de Facatativá y sus alrededores lo que ayudaría a que muchas vidas de inocentes se salven a través de la adopción y se conviertan en mascotas de apoyo emocional para las familias y las personas que serán los beneficiados con su presencia en sus hogares. | |

Normally it is believed that these pets are only kept in family environments, but currently they are in the workplace and work schedules like any member of a company's work team, some well there and others in the home of an employee who takes them in. At night and during the day they interact with all employees.
It is important to highlight that one of the main objectives of the foundation is for the general population of this municipality and the surrounding municipalities to raise awareness about the responsible ownership of felines in the municipality of Facatativá and its surroundings, which would help many lives of Innocents are saved through adoption and become emotional support pets for families and people who will benefit from their presence in their homes. | |
