| dc.description.abstract | En este artículo se sistematizó la innovación social MANZANAS DEL CUIDADO,
en la localidad de Kennedy; este programa surge ante la problemática de aquellas personas mujeres y hombres que tiene a cargo el cuidado de adultos mayores, niños o personas con capacidades limitadas, y que no han tenido acceso o tiempo para su desarrollo personal. Bogotá es pionera en América Latina con las Manzanas del Cuidado, iniciativa que ha tenido reconocimiento nacional e internacional por su innovadora propuesta.
Las Manzanas son espacios ubicados en cada una de las localidades de la ciudad de Bogotá; en estas áreas se encuentra la infraestructura adecuada, así como los servicios para atender de manera continua a las cuidadoras y a sus familias.
En las Manzanas del Cuidado las cuidadoras es decir personas que tienen a cargo cuidado de niños o adultos mayores y no reciben retribución alguna pueden acceder a servicios gratuitos de bienestar en diversas áreas para que puedan tener las herramientas para el desarrollo personal como estudiar, emprender, emplearse, descansar, ejercitarse, recibir orientación y asesoría jurídica y psicológica, lavar su ropa y la de su familia en lavanderías comunitarias, de manera gratuita, mientras ellas están en estos servicios, las personas a quienes cuidan son atendidas en espacios en los que se busca potencializar sus capacidades y promover su autonomía. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The apples of care arise from the problems of those women and men who are in charge of caring for the elderly, children or people with limited abilities, and who have not had access or time for their personal development. Bogotá is a pioneer in Latin America with the Apples of Care, an initiative that has obtained national and international recognition for its innovative proposal.
This social innovation is articulated with entities such as the District Secretariat for Women, IDRD; ICBF among others and seeks to strengthen the system that was recognized in December 2023 with the Guangzhou International Urban Innovation Prize (the Nobel of urban planning) as one of the most innovative bets worldwide.
Thanks to this ecosystem of the apples of care we can observe that public policies can address the most complex social problems with social innovation, and in a participatory, easy-access way, which seeks social inclusion, the personal development of communities, articulating the various tools, resources and personnel generating a cultural and social impact in this case the town of Kennedy, since we already saw how at this headquarters they can also carry out short courses, knitting and literature workshops, people who need psychological and legal advice can do so. they can do; As well as advice for job search or strengthening business ideas at no cost, other activities are also organized such as a dance workshop, yoga, bicycle school, and physical activities outdoors or in community halls. | |
