Dose Answer of Different Inhibitors for Metabolic Studies in Astrocyte With L-Lactato in Perinatal Concentrations.Dosis Respuesta de Diferentes Inhibidores para Estudios Metabólicos en Astrocitos con L-Lactato en Concentraciones Perinatales.
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2005-06-15)
The transport systems such as the mitochondrial/cytosolic shuttles are important for the integrating functions of the brain in development. To facilitate their study and to know the rol that these transport systems could have in cerebral cells, radioactive tracers in primary cultured have been used. In this work the oxidation (respiration) and lipogenic rates were evaluated using lactate which is the main cerebral ...
Modulation of the Lipids Levels and Lipoproteins for the Polymorphism of the Apolipoprotein EModulación de los Niveles de Lípidos y Lipoproteinas por el Polimorfismo de la Apolipoproteina E en Individuos Sanos de Bogota D.C.
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2005-06-15)
The objective of the present work was to study the genetic polymorphism of apo E and his effect on plasma lipids and lipoproteins levels in one cohort of 200 healthy adult individuals (20-65 years) resident in Bogotá D.C. The frequency of apo E gene alleles was 0.05 for e2; 0.87 for e3 and 0.08 for e4. The individuals were classified according to the ApoE genotype in: e3/2, e3/3, e4/3, e4/4 and e4/2. The genotype of ...
Comparative Study of Cultivation Means for Growth and Recovery of Theatcc 25175Estudio Comparativo de Medios de Cultivo para Crecimiento y Recuperación Delatcc 25175 .
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2005-06-15)
The present study evaluated the recovery in vitro of S. mutans ATCC 25175 in seven culture of media: Mitis Salivarius Agar (MSA), Mitis Salivarius Agar-Bacitracin (MSB), Mitis Salivarius Agar-Kanamycin- Bacitracin (MSKB), Mitis Salivarius Agar-Bacitracin-Sulfisoxazole (MS-MUT), Trypticase soy-Extract of yeast-Sucrose-Bacitracin Agar (TYS20B) (media indexed as selective), Infusion Brain Heart Agar (BHI) (enriched medium) ...
Influence of Carbon Source Over the Expression Of1regulated Proteins inInfluencia de la fuente de carbono sobre la expresión de proteínas AOX1-reguladas en Pichia pastoris
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2005-06-15)
Influence of carbon source over the expression of AOX1-regulated proteins in Pichia pastoris: The Pichia pastoris yeast is an excellent model for the expression of heterologous protein, thus could be deduce from the greate number of proteins that has been obtain in this biological model under the control of AOX1 promoter. This means that peroxisomes number and the enzyme alcohol oxidase are regulate as response to the ...
Molecular Characterization of Colombian Stumps of . Through the Rflp-is200Caracterización Molecular de Cepas Colombianas de . a Través del Rflp-is200
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2005-06-15)
Molecular techniques, used for the genomic DNA analysis, as IS200 RFLP has shown to be efficient to solve phylogenetic and epidemiologic relationship between Salmonella spp., strains, isolated from poultry and human. Present study had the aim to determine whether the IS200 sequence was present in the Salmonella spp., strains isolated from both origins, to establish a possible transmition chain between both. Phylogenetic ...
Retard of Intra-Uterine Growth (Rciu) and Their Biochemical AlterationsRetardo de Crecimiento Intrauterino (Rciu) y Sus Alteraciones Bioquímicas.
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2005-06-15)
The study of the retard of intra-uterine (RCIU) growth continues being important so much at obstetric level as pediatric. The interest is centered in the factors that impact directly in the flaws of growth in uterus and on its postnatal consequences. Besides the genetic potential, inherited of the parents, the development and survival of the fetus depends directly on the supply of the necessary substrates, as sugars, ...
Bacterial Freezing: Factors That Intervene in the Process.
Effect in Laboratory of Addition of Inorganic Fertilizers Made in Degradation of Hydrocarbon On Contaminated Soil By OilEfecto de la adición de fertilizantes inorgánicos compuestos en la degradación de hidrocarburos en suelos contaminados con petróleo
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2004-12-15)
At present one of the most important environmental problems is contamination of soil ecosystem by hydrocarbon spilling mainly of oil and its derivates which occurs when oil is explored or transported. Furthermore in Colombia it occurs due to violent assaults made by men outside of law against petroleum infrastructure. To solve this problem there are treatment methods to recover contaminated soil as Landfarming technique, ...
Hydrolytic Activity and Isoenzymatic Characterization of Microbial Population Isolated of Documental Heritage of General Archive of Colombia (Agn)Actividades hidrolíticas y caracterización isoenzimática de poblaciones microbianas aisladas del patrimonio documental del Archivo General de Colombia
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2004-12-15)
This work shows an isolation and evaluation model of microorganisms deterioration agents of documental heritage. 28 Isolations were recovered and identified as conservation with biodeterioration as in deposit No. 15 atmosphere of AGN (Bogotá-Colombia). Of this group, 16 microbial isolations showed hydrolytic capability on vegetable fibers when they were cultivated in with cellular walls at 1% as the unique carbon source. ...
Infectious Process and Resistance Biofilm Role.El papel del biofilm en el proceso infeccioso y la resistencia
(Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, 2004-12-15)
Biofilm is a cell population which grows up together in a wrapped surface in a exopolysaccharide matrix which protects them of antibiotic attacks. More than 60% of all microbial infection is caused by Biofilm, to raise the resistance of these antimicrobial communities there are several mechanisms among others; antibiotic inactivity by extracellular polymerous or enzymatic alteration, grow rate diminished due to nutrient ...
