As a starting point, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is carried out within a public social policy that seeks to progressively reduce high rates of poverty, illiteracy, inequality, discrimination, socioeconomic marginalization and social exclusion.
Therefore, the productive system and society seek to strengthen relations to improve their coexistence, where equity, solidarity, inclusion are fundamental pillars on which bases their responsibility, trying to reduce or close the gap of their divergent relationships.
At a global level, business management trends are presented with innovative and technological strategies that demand a significant budget in order to design new opportunities to improve the quality of life after the long-term sustainable social benefit.
Therefore, the present investigation is related to the analysis of the behavior observed in companies of the Colombian coffee sector focused on CSR, within its productive / commercial processes; in order to establish stakeholder perceptions that lead to proposals for improvement in this sector, combining efforts of the State (public companies), higher education institutions and private enterprise.
