dc.description.abstract | Cambios en el contexto social, tecnológico y de negocios desencadenan nuevos desafíos al campo del marketing. Es así como el marketing tradicional dirigido hacia el consumidor y hacia los canales de distribución y venta, parece entrar en crisis, debido a que diversos estudios han demostrado que pese a los esfuerzos que se hagan en publicidad fuera del punto de venta, la mayoría de las decisiones de compra se llevan a cabo justo en frente de la góndola. Lo anterior permite dilucidar que existen diferencias entre las motivaciones del consumidor y el comprador y deja entrever un espacio por explotar para el marketing y es aquel relacionado con cómo influenciar las decisiones de compra en el punto de venta, enfoque del marketing al que se ha conocido por el anglicismo shopper marketing o marketing orientado al comprador. Si bien estos postulados son asertivos, el shopper marketing, es un campo poco conocido y estudiado, más aún en países de Latinoamérica. Es por ello que la pregunta a la que se busca responder mediante este documento es ¿En qué consiste el shopper marketing y qué estrategias propone? | spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Changes in the social, technological and business context have triggered new challenges in the marketing field. It is so the traditional marketing focused on the consumer and the distribution and sale channels it seems to be in crisis, due to the fact is that several studies have shown that despite the efforts that companies do outside of the point of sale, most of the decisions that people take are taking just in front of the shelf. The aforementioned let’s elucidate that differences exist between the consumer and shopper motivations and let’s glimpse that there is a space to explore by the marketing and that is related to how to influence the purchase decisions in the point of sale. This field of marketing is known by the term of “shopper marketing” or marketing focus on the shopper. Although these statements are assertive, the shopper marketing is a field a little bit known and studied, even more in countries like Latin Americans. Is it, therefore, this paper wants to answer the question ¿what is and which strategies the shopper marketing proposes? | spa |
