| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto de investigación fue diseñado con el objetivo de identificar las posibles dificultades que presentan los estudiantes del grado sexto del Centro Educativo San Jacinto al resolver situaciones problemas que requieren el uso de habilidades básicas de pensamiento en el área de matemáticas y al mismo tiempo conocer que provoca dichas dificultades. El punto de partida de este proyecto fue el reporte del bajo rendimiento académico de los estudiantes, presentado por los docentes del grado sexto del centro educativo san Jacinto, el cual se ve reflejado en los bajos resultados obtenidos por estos estudiantes en la prueba Saber 5º del año 2018 (ANEXO H. I), y que de igual manera se refleja en las actividades académicas, cuando intentan resolver situaciones problemas contextualizadas, ya que se observa que los estudiantes no ponen en práctica los conocimientos matemáticos adquiridos en las clases y en los años anteriores.
Durante el desarrollo de este proyecto se abordaron conceptos que ayudaron a conocer a profundidad las dificultades que presentan los estudiantes al momento de solucionar situaciones problemas, los cuales pueden estar relacionados con teorías de aprendizaje, dificultades de aprendizaje, diseños - elaboración y pasos en la resolución de situaciones problemas.
Se analiza la problemática desde una perspectiva cualitativa buscando la interpretación de las causas que provocan que los estudiantes tengan dificultades al momento de resolver situaciones problemas que requieran de un conocimiento matemático, la acción participativa se convirtió en un factor muy importante al momento de abordar y estudiar el problema ya que facilitó un análisis crítico de la situación. Con la ayuda de las técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de datos se logró obtener información muy valiosa que dio indicios claros sobre las causas que podrían provocan la dificultad en los estudiantes, dando a conocer en las conclusiones y recomendaciones aportes significativos para mejorar el rendimiento académicos de estos estudiantes en el área de matemáticas y desarrollar en ellos competencias de resolución de problemas. | spa |

During the development of this project, concepts were addressed that helped to understand in depth the difficulties that students present when solving problem situations, which may be related to learning theories, learning difficulties, designs - elaboration and steps in solving of problem situations.
The problem is analyzed from a qualitative perspective looking for the interpretation of the causes that cause students to have difficulties when solving situations problems that require mathematical knowledge, participatory action became a very important factor when addressing and studying the problem since it facilitated a critical analysis of the situation. With the help of the techniques and instruments of data collection, it was possible to obtain very valuable information that gave clear indications about the causes that could cause difficulty in the students, making known in the conclusions and recommendations significant contributions to improve the academic performance of These students in the area of mathematics and develop problem solving skills in them. | spa |
