| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Diagnostic images have taken on great importance in forensic medicine, thanks to their great help in identifying a corpse as well as in clarifying the victim's reason for death, and we have seen how it has evolved as the time since in the beginning only conventional radiology with sinus Rx for nasal, carpogram, pelvis, upper and lower limbs was taken into account, but now with the evolution of science we see that the taking of CT with reconstructions in 3D and MRI which have managed to overcome some methods that might not be so accurate when it comes to identifying corpses and clarifying the cause of death; Throughout the study of forensic radiology, we have also addressed the importance of transforming our culture regarding death, and thus be able to provide a comprehensive service to both the victim and their family and their environment, carrying out our dignified work, with humanization, and respect. | spa |
