| dc.description.abstract | El presente ensayo es una Investigación – Acción que se hizo en el marco del Diplomado de Construcción de Redes Sociales de Comunicación que dictó la Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia UNAD y, aborda los retos que tiene la Fundación Indígena Intercultural Makaguan Sikuani con respecto a la comunicación digital, tan necesaria en el mundo actual.
Los retos devienen de algunas limitantes de los miembros de la fundación, que son prácticamente las mismas que tienen las organizaciones indígenas de Colombia: abandono estatal, limitantes lingüísticas y culturales, estigmatización y prejuicios de parte de la sociedad «blanca» y poca preparación académica. Tales limitantes impiden que la organización se comunique de manera adecuada con el mundo globalizado actual, que se informa e informa, de manera expedita y a diario, a través de los medios digitales y aparatos tecnológicos. En este trabajo se alude a las dificultades que enfrenta la Fundación Indígena Intercultural Makaguan Sikuani al querer formar parte del mundo actual, sin perder su riqueza cultural. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This essay is an Investigation - Action that was carried out within the framework of the Diploma in Construction of Social Communication Networks given by the National Open and Distance University UNAD and addresses the challenges that the Makaguan Sikuani Indigenous Intercultural Foundation has with respect to communication digital, so necessary in today's world.
The challenges come from some limitations of the members of the foundation, which are practically the same as the indigenous organizations of Colombia: state abandonment, linguistic and cultural limitations, stigmatization and prejudices on the part of the "white" society and little academic preparation. Such limitations prevent the organization from communicating adequately with the current globalized world, which is informed and informed, expeditiously and daily, through digital media and technological devices. This work alludes to the difficulties faced by the Makaguan Sikuani Indigenous Intercultural Foundation in wanting to be part of today's world, without losing its cultural richness. | |
