| dc.description.abstract | El Sistema de Gestión de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SG SST) históricamente ha evolucionado por medio de decretos resoluciones y circulares que van dirigiendo el cumplimiento del sistema.
Mantener un SGSST en Colombia implica cumplir las leyes aplicables, este sistema de alguna manera se desactualiza a la misma velocidad que se emiten nuevas normas, por lo tanto es un sistema que está vivo y requiere un conjunto de esfuerzos, y también necesita actualizarse de manera legal y constante, es por esto que es importante realizar un análisis de la normatividad aplicable para realizar un diseño del Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Seguridad en el Trabajo en Colombia; con el fin de entender el horizonte legal colombiano en materia Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo. Se ha realizado una revisión general de todo el proceso desde sus inicios en Colombia y siguiendo una línea metodológica, mostraremos en el documento, la evolución de este y las diferentes formas en que las empresas pueden usar el SGSST como una herramienta de gestión, dando a la misma un valor importante y no mostrándola como un simple proceso de apoyo dentro de un organigrama.
Al final se abordan temas que cuentan con la visión de futuro, pensando en los nuevos retos que puede representar para Colombia y las compañías colombianas una ventaja a nivel competitivo, que puede dar mejora continua a los procesos mimetizándolos para que sean muestra de rentabilidad, confianza y disminución en la accidentalidad y la enfermedad laboral. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) have historically evolved through decrees, resolutions and circulars that direct compliance with the system.
Maintaining an Occupational Safety and Health Management System in Colombia implies complying with the applicable laws, this system is somehow outdated at the same speed that new standards are issued, therefore it is a system that is alive and requires a set of efforts, and also needs to be updated in a legal and constant way, that is why it is important to perform an analysis of the applicable regulations to make a design of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System in Colombia; in order to understand the Colombian legal horizon in Occupational Safety and Health. We have made a general review of the whole process from its beginnings in Colombia and following a methodological line, we will show in the document, the evolution of the same and the different ways in which companies can use the OSHMS as a management tool, giving it an important value and not showing it as a simple support process within an organization chart.
At the end, topics that have a vision of the future are addressed, thinking about the new challenges that can represent for Colombia and Colombian companies an advantage at a competitive level, which can give continuous improvement to the processes mimicking them to be a sign of profitability, confidence and decrease in the accident rate and occupational disease. | |
