The main objective of this monograph is to make know the mathematical learning difficulties that usually affect students in their learning, such as dyscalculia and problem solving. Moreover, this document seeks to provide Information, bot to the parents and to the teachers, on the main mathematical learning difficulties, presenting definition, characteristics of the disease, diagnoses and treatments or ways of acting, which will allow them to realize more quickly in case of a possible illness, in addition, to make the appropriate decisions to help the children understand your difficulty as well as avoid major problems in the future. To carry out this monograph, a qualitative method was applied, which allowed a greater analysis of the information obtained. On the other hand, the results of the research show that dyscalculia, despite having treatment, doesn’t have cure, so the child will always have this condition. Regarding the difficulty in solving problems, it was possible to understand that this does not lie in a single cause, in addition, this difficulty often occurs due to the low levels of reading comprehension of the student. To conclude, it can be known that, despite the fact that dyscalculia has treatment, it is not curable, however, this helps the child understand her/his difficulty and knows how to handle it with serenity, otherwise with the difficulty in solving problems, since this can be mitigated through the implementation of activities and didactic strategies
