| dc.description.abstract | La radiología convencional en medicina forense actualmente es de gran utilidad por su
efectividad y rapidez en la adquisición de la imagen, donde les permite a los médicos forenses a
dar un dictamen confiable y seguro, ya que estas imágenes radiográficas ayudan en la
identificación de cadáveres, determinando la causa de muerte, posible edad y sexo, también
mediante este estudio radiográfico podemos realizar una radiografía panorámica dental para
lograr identificar un cadáver donde esta nos permite identificar el numero de piezas dentales,
siendo de gran ayuda en las investigaciones forenses.
La importancia de la radiología convencional en el ámbito forense es de gran ayuda en la
búsqueda de lesiones o daños, complementando la evidencia física a examinar. Por ello este
método radiológico es de suma importancia dada a la rapidez y eficacia en cada caso investigado.

| dc.description.abstractenglish | Conventional radiology in forensic medicine is currently very useful due to its effectiveness and
speed in the acquisition of the image, which allows forensic doctors to give a reliable and safe
opinion, as these radiographic images help in the identification of corpses, determining the cause
of death, possible age and sex, also through this radiographic study we can perform a dental
panoramic x-ray to identify a corpse where this allows us to identify the number of dental pieces,
being of great help in forensic investigations.
The importance of conventional radiology in the forensic field is of great help in the search for
injuries or damage, complementing the physical evidence to be examined. This is why this
radiological method is of utmost importance due to its speed and efficiency in each case
investigated.
